Special Note From Summer Glau

» 22 May 2009 » In 'TSCC', News » 5 Comments

Summer sent a really sweet message to Cristelle who runs the longest running Summer site, Summer-Glau.net and I wanted to share it with you if you haven’t seen it already.

Dear Friends,

Here is my long overdue thank you note to anyone and every person who has watched our pride and joy Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles… Now that our season is done and I somehow feel far away, I want to say that it wouldn’t have been possible without faithful viewers; and it wouldn’t have been fun to make without such sincere interest from you…

T:SCC Officially Cancelled

» 18 May 2009 » In 'TSCC' » 6 Comments

While we all probably saw it coming, Fox officially has made the announcement that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been canceled. While this is truly upsetting news to all us T:SCC / Cameron fans, we’re excited to see what Summer will do next; perhaps the Joss film or something new entirely!

“It was not an inexpensive show,” explained Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly. “We had to make some choices on the night. We looked at ratings track where it had a consistent run. And that trend line was not pointing in the right direction. We make no apologies for that show — we did a huge launch with that show. We tried. It was time to move on … Ultimately we bet on ‘Dollhouse.

Also regarding the site, I will be returning with some updates very soon. Like I wrote before I did leave the country, and then right when I got back lost my internet connection for some time.

Site Announcement

» 21 March 2009 » In Site » 3 Comments

I wanted to let all of our loyal visitors know that this site will likely not be updated a whole lot until the end of April. I am going to be traveling and my internet access will be very minimal. But I will try and update the site as much as I can, if possible. Also this regards e-mail replies and comments approval. If the hiatus will last longer than a month, I will be sure to update on it again. But rest assured, I will update as soon as I can!

Meanwhile, check out here for the latest news and here for the newest images.

» 03 March 2009 » In 'TSCC', Videos » No Comments

EW got their hands on the WonderCon reel which was assembled exclusively for the 3,500 fans in attendance by executive producer Josh Friedman. The clip features wall-to-wall Summer Glau and significant spoilers from this season’s final six episodes – I can’t stress to you HOW spoilery this is, so seriously avoid if she do not want to know anything; however I did indeed watch the video and I mildly regret it, I’m literally speechless over what I saw. We are in for some big things with these final episodes, wow! If you wish to watch check the video out here!

WonderCon 2009

WonderCon 2009 took place this past week and yesterday, the last day of the convention, Summer and her Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles family attended a panel to discuss the show and it’s upcoming future. Miss Glau was looking super cute and you can check out a handful of HQ pictures, courtesy of Flickr.

There really are no major spoilers, but as always if you wish to know absolutely nothing, quit reading! Through the audience questions we learn the following about the show’s upcoming episodes;

1. All will be revealed about the three dots.

2. Summer really liked the addition of the Riley character because it allowed the audience to talk about if Cameron was able to feel jealousy or insecurity.

3. Josh does not want to add new characters created in the Terminator: Salvation

4. If Catherine Weaver and Cameron were to get into a fight, Catherine is much more likely to win.

5. The last 6 episodes of this season have a lot of Cameron, and she will play a huge part in the arc.

Summer Glau talks Big Bang Theory

» 01 March 2009 » In Articles, Projects » 2 Comments

As a star of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and a veteran of Joss Whedon’s Firefly and Serenity, Summer Glau is accustomed to being recognized in public by enthusiastic and devoted fanboys.

On March 9, art will imitate life (or real life will intersect with art) when Glau crosses network boundaries to guest star as herself on CBS’ Big Bang Theory.

In the episode, airing on March 9, the brilliantly geeky heroes of Big Bang Theory run into Summer Glau on a train and, as one might imagine, they’re pretty excited about the chance for celebrity interaction.

Meeting with reporters before the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles panel at San Francisco’s WonderCon, HitFix asked Glau about her foray into sitcom work and how Fictional Summer Glau differs from Real Life Summer Glau.

Summer Glau Arrives with a Big Bang

» 01 March 2009 » In Gallery, Media Alerts, Projects » No Comments

It’s pure nerd-vana on the March 9 episode of CBS’ The Big Bang Theory when Summer Glau — butt-kicking Cameron on Fox’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles — guest-stars as herself. And this photo is a first look at what is ostensibly the gang’s reaction to stumbling upon (perhaps literally) the sci-fi siren.

How do Leonard, Sheldon et al come to be within sniffing distance of the brunette beauty? The unlikely, would-be encounter comes to pass as the boys trek to a sci-fi convention, only to realize that one of its biggest draws is riding the same train as them.

Also appearing in the sweeps episode — and giving TV’s “fourth wall” an equally fun nudge — is Nobel Laureate Dr. George Smoot, aka the father of the Big Bang Theory of Creation. But in all fairness, his abs don’t look as good as Summer’s.
